Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken breast cutlets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry and arrange it on a baking sheet or work surface.
- Lightly brush both sides with olive oil and sprinkle Cajun seasoning generously over both sides, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over high heat for 3 to 5 minutes until very hot.
- Add the chicken in a single layer and cook without moving until a dark crust forms, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, about 3 to 5 minutes more.
- Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a spicier kick, adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your taste.
Let the skillet heat thoroughly to achieve the perfect blackened crust.
